Wat Pho is one of six royal first class temples in Thailand and home of the 46 meter long and 15 meter high Reclining Buddha.
Situated just next to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew and opposite of Wat Arun it enraptures the visitor with its buildings and Chedis embellished with thousands of glistening china clay flowers and ornaments.
The Viharn housing the reclining Buddha is usually pretty busy but well worth a visit as the dimensions of the statue are truly breathtaking.
